  • achievable and comfortable without losing sight of the challenge with
  • a balance of organised activities and leisure time for you to explore on your own.
  • A Tall order indeed and yet we are informed we have achieved our goal

DAY 1 | Arrive Melbourne

Our staff will meet you at Melbourne Airport and you will be transferred to our accommodation in the City.

Settle in and the afternoon is yours to explore. If you fancy, never too late to purchase that stunning outfit for tomorrows soiree.

Do your own thing for dinner or join the group for an early Teppanyaki dinner followed by one of Melbournes' live theatre productions.

DAY 2 | Ladies (Oaks) Day at Flemington

Time for the "glad rags" ladies. We will be coached to Flemington where we will join the throngs for the running of the time honored VRC Oaks.

Grandstand seating and Fashions On the Field.

Afterward we will return home via coach and the evening will either be free for you to discover the wonderful cuisine of Melbourne on your own, or perhaps join the group for an early laneway dinner followed by a little cabaret tonight.

DAY 3 | Coach Transfer to Daylesford

A little sleep in before our Coach transfer to our accommodation in Daylesford and then an afternoon at your leisure.

A mystery ride n the afternoon for those so inclined.

DAY 4 | Woodend & Trentham

  • Distance: 85 km
  • Total Vertical Climb: 958m
  • Estimated Time: 5 hrs
  • Today's Ride is Rated: Moderate

Our first days ride sees us head north and then west toward Trentham where we have a short comfort stop before pushing on to Tylden and then down into the quintessential modern rural village, Woodend and its cosmopolitan cafés, bookstores and an eclectic mix of old  and new wares.

A stop at Bourkies' Bakehouse and sample the delights of the local barista quality coffee before we mount up for the run on home for an afternoon of relaxation (or not – it is your holiday after all!)

Day 5 | Rest Day

Today is pamper day. Take advantage of our group offer or make your own pamper plans at any of the amazing spas in the region.

Join us tonight for dinner at one of Daylesfords leading establishments.

Day 6 | Castlemaine

  • Distance: 83kms
  • Total Vertical Climb: 845m
  • Estimated Time: 5 hrs
  • Today's Ride is Rated: Moderate

Today we head north to the town of Castlemaine which had its' foundations in the Gold Rush of 1851. Wisely it has retained its heritage and character whilst still offering all the modern requirements of a bustling rural centre (including great coffee).\

 DAY 7 | Departure

Ladies - your chariot awaits! Today we transfer you back to Melbourne Airport for your departure home.
